Montana,Little ball of yellow fluffy fur
soft and loving at their door.
How you found them I will never know
But safe they kept you forever more... 02-89/11-1-2007
For you Montana 11-12-07

The years in life you gave us
All neatly tucked away
Within our hearts a treasure
Forever and a day
The time in life passed quickly
And you were always there
Showing how you loved us
With so much joy and care
We always will remember
The bounty of this time
When you were there to greet us
To make our days sublime
Our precious sweet Montana
Your days in life now done
Your legacy lives on in us
Your beauty next to none
Within the skies of heaven
Where rainbows fill the sky
Your days of joy beginning
As we whisper our good-byes
You gave to us such happiness
In hours of the past
We count them and are grateful
For all these memories last
So run among the beauty
In fields of grass and streams
Where love is never ending
Where life is so serene
We miss you and we love you
When we think of you we'll say
Our days we shared so special
When "Montana" came our way.

This past week my son called and advised his beloved Montana had passed away
They had Montana for many years and he was truly loved
I tried to write a poem for Montana But only those few words would come
My friend Francine sent these words today that said it better than I ever could I thank her so much
For this is the way my son expressed their loss to me
Rest in peace Montana, your race of life you won **Kc**

They say
memories are golden
well maybe that is true.
we never wanted memories,
we only wanted you.
A million times we've needed you,
a million times we've cried.
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place
not one could ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
We'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
