The sweetest cat in all the world, has gone to Rainbow Bridge.
But he’ll never be forgotten as long as I shall live
He’s had a long and happy life, No cat could ask for more,
With comfort, food and loving care - Well, that’s what pets are for.
We’ve been together 18 years, He’s been my special friend
He leaves behind a broken heart, impossible to mend
I know I’m going to miss him, It was very hard to part.
But there’ll always be a place for Tinker deep within my heart.
And if I know my Tinker, He’ll be sitting on God’s knee,
Purring fit to bust - Just like he always did for me.
