Beauty of The Autumn

A cool mist greeted the foggy morning
But soon made way for sunny skies
And as the mountains came into view
God's beauty lay before my old eyes

Leaves that once were brightly green
Were replaced with red and dark gold
And the vision displayed before me
Was one of the greatest ever told

A chilly breeze rustled the branches
As above them the birds did soar
Singing and proclaiming very loudly
That the warm summertime was no more

Autumn had made it's mighty entrance
Into the great state of Tennessee
And of all my journeys in the world
I was now exactly where I should be
