Christmas comes
But once a year,
All the more reason
For a hearty cheer.

Time for sunshine
And for smiles,
Time to forget
The well traveled miles.

Time to remember
Friends new and old,
Time to help someone
Out in the cold.

Time to remember
God's gift to us all,
His own dear Son
There on the cross so tall.

He is the reason
For this Christmas season,
