Where are your furry paws now?
Were you stolen away or did you just stray?
Where is your cute little miaow?
Your friends are all pining and looking for you,
With questioning looks on their faces
They search through the house as if seeking a mouse
And they sniff out your favorite places
I've walked 'round the streets till my feet are on fire
and called out your name in the dark
I've looked under hedges and on window ledges
And scoured every inch of the park
Do you cry for me, hungry and cold in the night,
And wonder why I don't reply?
Are you out in the rain and wounded,in pain?
Are you lost? Are you hiding nearby?
Are you shut in somewhere with nothing to eat?
Were you killed by a fast moving car?
I can't sleep at night for fear of your plight-
Oh,if I only knew where you are............

On 3-12-04 I lost my beloved Yoda...
She was a nanny to all my feral babies and
somehow she escaped my yard
and was hit by a car.
I don't know how she got out,
please remember to watch for escape places .
I thought my yard was ' escape proof ', and lost my precious friend
"Yoda, you are so missed,
I love you,
there is a new star that shines for you and you will always be with me.
Your mission is finished, you can rest now my little one"
