You know, there is only so much cuteness that makes up for hoolikittenism. Eventually even the most patient Meowmies might snap.
This cat is going to be the death of me. I just know it.
I went out and bought doorstops and drawer/cabinet locks today...
Spent $20.00 (which is a week's food when you are unemployed!) and when I got home I took the doorstoppers out.
Put one in the office door, which is the one room in which HE most often locks himself.
He thought the rubber smelled like a toy, so off he went....
Took him ten minutes but he got the stop out from the door, and took it in the hallway and bunnykicked it to death.
Then he came back into the office and slammed the door and sat down and purred.
[shaking head]
Oh and have I mentioned that he insta-purrs the second you turn on any water in the house? He LOVES water, and will literally hold his head under a running faucet until he comes up sputtering and drenched.
Then he will do it again. As he sneezes and snorts the water back out of his nose, he sticks his tail under so it gets soaked too.
I often find him wandering the house wet from playing in the bath, or in his water bowl, or wherever he has found some water.
When I get out of the shower, he MUST inspect every square inch, and ROLL on the wet floor!
So tonight I turned on a tap for him to play in, and he sat down next to it as I had my hand on the handle.
As soon as the water started running, he started the loudest purr he can muster, and he purred until I turned the water off.
Back on, purr. Back off, silence. And it made me realize he ALWAYS starts to purr when water is turned on.
HE IS INSANE !
