Just for my Gentle Annie !

For the Love of Annie

Hi,

I am a Norwegian Forest Cat. I came to this house a while back from a shelter at my vet. My other person had passed away and I had no home. Lucky for me, this lady,{ KC } {the one who is doing the typing while I tell my story} found me and now I have a home again. So, this is my story, I hope you enjoy it.

There are two others here with me, Gypsy and Mollie. We all get along surprisingly well. I even get along with Mollie, even though, she gets away with everything, because, quote, "She is the baby."
We also have " Girl" Kennys cat,she is a bobtail of some sort !! I am still trying to deal with " no Tail" [ gulp ]

I was born in Canada and then imported here, "To the States," and I love it. I was in several Cat Shows, but only won a red ribbon one time. Guess that is good, but no blues for me {sniff, sniff}.

But, enough about that. I have learned better things to do with my time. Since I have been here with KC I have learned ' to sort' of talk to her to make her understand me. I open my jaws real Big and HISss and she soon gets the message. That's how I tell her "Hi"..and she understands me, It also means Food! also, it means "rubbies" when I get on the headboard when we go to bed at night. It just took a bit of training her. Pokeing her in the ribs with my big paw also gets her Attention [ he-he ] when I want a special treat. I always get it too !

My job around here is to catch mice, if I see any, [ fat chance of that ! ] I eat, sleep and enjoy the life. If you toss the ball, I will bring it back. If you toss it in the air, I can catch it with my paws. {For a little treat} The lady really likes that one ! In the mornings it's my job also to nudge KC awake! whiskers by her nose normally does the trick, but if that does not work- head butts do, I think KC just plays asleep to get them. I can see her smiling so I KNOW!!

Over the years as I have gotten older, I have deveoped a few health problems but nothing KC says she can't deal with as long as it makes me better. I lost about 11 lbs, and was really sick, but Kc found a wonderful vet that found I had a thyroid problem Big time. We had Lots of ups and downs over a few months but I am all better now. AND I get LOTS of LOVE and anything I want to eat. Sometimes I make KC open 2-3 cans of stuff before I find what looks good [ snicker ]

My favorite interests are mainly in my food bowl and sleeping. After all, I am a Cat. Hmmmmm, [so they say], Mommie says, she is having a hard time typing.. with me on the keyboard. Silly Mommie, where else would I be? Molly has the sunny window seat, and and the Turp [ Velcro, aka Gyspy ] has my Chair!! I have no clue where the "Tail-less" one might be. But, had better not be on my spot on Kc's bed!! And since I "run" things here, the others better pay attention to me!!

There is picture of me below, KC said this is her fave. of me { purrss ].. I need to go find that KC. She left me here alone and I need another snack. I smelled some good stuff in that big bag in the corner. MMmmm I wonder if she rememberd the CatNip?? [ " It's Mine..ALL Mine ..purrss" ]

Enjoy !
Love Annie

My Annie
Last night I dreamt I was visited by an Angel
Fire danced in her eyes, and held a mischevious sparkle
The lights of a thousand stars and golden candle sticks
beamed around her like a cloak
She moved with the grace of a ballerina
When she moved I heard the music
of a hundred orchestras
I could feel myself drawn to her
A magic hand pulling me,
She reached my soul and touched my heart.
Yes, last night I was visited by an angel,
Today, when I woke she was still here,
Softly purring, just for me to hear.
