Within this life so much despair
With heavy hearts a special prayer
That God will make us all aware
That these are burdens we must share

Remembering when I was small
To fear those who were not like "all"
But through the years I've come to see
Compassion is that special key

To open up our hearts to give
The hope of all in life who live
Perhaps a word or just a smile
Will be the gift that's so worthwhile

God's children of humanity
Who carry burdens endlessly
Will journey on perhaps to find
There is some hope for all mankind.

There is some hope for all.
This Year , please remember those in need
and without homes
Give thanks for your blessings
Should you have some time,perhaps
some one could use your help
in feeding those who come to shelters
they also give thanks
God Bless one and all this Day
Mosty remember to say a prayer for our troops
I am thankful they are there protecting me
So I can be safe

God has identified himself with the hungry,
the sick, the naked, the
homeless;
hunger, not only for bread,
but for love, for care,
to be somebody to someone;
nakedness, not of clothing only,
but nakedness of that
compassion that very few people give
to the unknown;
homelessness, not only
just from a shelter made of stone,
but that homelessness that comes from
having no one to call your own.
