"Purrss" I got a home to day,
and we are on our way.
I wonder what it will be like??
Will there be food?
Will there be Love??
Wow, I got a home today!!
..We are there...

The Lady carries me inside,
and she gives me food...
all the while petting me
and talking to me.

I think I will like it here.Best of all ..
I got a NAME today..
they call me ' Lucky '

I know it's the Purfect name for me,
for" I am Lucky "

I got a name and a home today....
I pray for my fur friends
that were left behind
I pray they also will have a home one day
and maybe they
will be called "Lucky " too.

I have had this poem many years,
and I have never known the author.

Just a word or two here
So Many pets are homeless,
Please save just one
