~ THE KITTENS~
She saw it out of the
Corner of her eye,
While others driving fast
Passed on by.
A cat and her kittens
Were together in the cold,
The kittens looked to be
About ten weeks old.
They were dirty
All wet and cold,
Wild with hunger
Scary to behold.
She gathered them up
In her gentle way,
And took them home
To start a better day.

a dear family friend
Tho I traveled with a heavy load
I found a cat beside the road,
Hungry and unfed
I gave it a bed.
But first some warm milk
Then a blanket dry,
After that I went to bed
And there I had my cry.

This is a true story
A few days ago, I found a momma cat
and 2 kittens on the road leading to no-where
I caught them and brought them home
and the next day I took them to a friend who has
a no -kill shelter
Steve,thank you for these words
I know now the little ones will have a good home
with the
help of my friend
