I'm sitting here on my own,
Would someone like to take me home?

Would someone like me.... I won't bite,
And let me sleep with you at night?

Would someone tell me that they care,
And let me know they're always there?

Would someone give me a special name,
And never say I'm such..... a shame?

Would someone watch for my little feet,
And let me know when it's time to eat?

Would someone tell me that I am good,
And tell me that I'm understood?

Would someone buy me food and toys,
So I'll have fun and make some noise?

Would someone like a voice that sings a song,
And won't get mad when things go wrong?

Would someone whisper in my ear,
"I love you and for you... I'm always here?"
