Once I had a loving home

I once had such a loving home
With someone gentle and kind
They took out the belongings
And just left me behind

So now I look for places to hide
And beg for food to eat

Some people are really kind to me
But it's hell living on the street

I miss my master who passed away
And wish that I could hide
He always tried to comfort me
When the fearful storms arrived

I don't know how long I will survive
For no one will take me in
I would love to be going to Rainbow Bridge
And be with my master again

Please don't let a little one
be among the ones who will be lost and Homeless
or left behind
to suffer
alone
