“That’s
as good a job as can be done ”
I
said to the dump truck driver
As
he prepared to leave.
He
had unloaded ten tons of gravel
On
my driveway.
Laying
it down smoothly
As
he pulled forward,
Then
backing up,
And
pulling forward again.
He
was a young man,
And
was afraid
I
wouldn’t be satisfied.
He
was use to working for
Unsatisfied
people.
As
he drove off into the darkness
Of
a cold dark
night
I
could still hear him say
“I
sure do like hearing those words”
He
almost jumped up and down with joy
Smiling
broadly, when I said them.
I
wonder why we don't
Compliment
each other more often.
It
cost us nothing and
Pays
a huge benefits
For
both the giver and the receiver.

The Pic of the gentleman looks like it belonged.. of a driver who works hard, for little pay or thanks ...
