For Tommy

Another little furry friend has left this world of ours
And gone across the Rainbow Bridge
to play amonst the flowers

A friendly, loving little cat, he stole my heart away
I was so sad to see him go, but I knew he couldn't stay.

A piece of me went with him - he could not go alone
I know I'll always miss him - It's not the same at home.

He's left so many memories, with these I'll never part
For I know my lovely Tommy will live on within my heart.

I believe that now he's whole again and that he feels no pain
And when my time on earth is through -
I'll be with my cats again.
