Well, I did something stupid last night. I usually
sleep at night since I stay alert all day to help MOM in the office. But
last night.....I just couldn't sleep. So, I crept out of bed so I wouldn't
wake MOM and went to find something interesting to do. I found my toy box
with all my toys stacked up neatly in the corner. So, I dumped them out all
over the floor. That didn't amuse me for long. I needed ADVENTURE!
I went to
the window to look out but it was too dark to see anything. Then I headed to
THE KITCHEN. I knew that I would find something interesting there. I jumped
on the kitchen counter and knocked some things off but the wasn't very much
fun, either. Then I found something interesting.... a plastic grocery bag
with something in it. There must of been something like vegetables in
it.....nothing very interesting so I dumped them on the floor, too. That
left just the plastic bag.
Now THAT was fun, I tried to get in it a few
times and then I found I couldn't get it off of me. It seems I put my head
through the bag's handle and it was around my neck. I couldn't get my head
out. I tried and tried but all I did was knock more stuff off onto the
floor. I finally came to the conclusion that there was only ONE way to get
the bag off my head. I was going to need MOM to do it....but she was asleep.
Oh well, I couldn't worry about a small thing like that....I need the bag
off NOW. So I jumped down onto the floor dragging the bag with me into the
bedroom. The hard part was jumping up onto the bed since I couldn't see all
that well. But, I did manage to do it and was able to drag myself AND THE
BAG over to where MOM was.
Then I took my paw and gently tapped her on the
nose. The next thing I knew.....well let's just say she scared me a lot when
she screamed. !!
She jerked the bag off my head and threw it across the room.
This fixed my problem just fine. My MOM was a real lifesaver. After that, I
found that I was tired after my big adventure......I was ready to snuggle up
on the bed and go to sleep.
But that didn't happen, I found myself being
put on the living room couch and then I heard a door slam shut. I'm not
really sure all that FUN was worth it.
