Why do we love Cats??

Clearly, it’s an individual thing.
Cats, experts say reflect a shift in our social habits.
While dogs are wonderfully loyal slaves,
cats are the ‘ thinking ‘ person’s pets.
As we grow to appreciate individuality in our own lives.
We also learn to respect
the independence of the cat. In other words,
we admire the same qualities that
We admire in our selves

There are more practical reasons also;
cats are easier to care for,
they don’t demand as much attention
As other pets perhaps,
and generally get their own exercise.
What’s more important, in families
Where both adults are working, and for those
unable to care for a dog, those that are elderly
Or frail, but still yearn for the companionship,
of a warm fuzzy friend.

To own a cat,
is to experience one of life’s greatest mysteries.
And challenges.
[There may be those who might disagree however]
At a touch, a cat explodes like a snapdragon into loud purrs.
People don’t really choose or own a cat,
Cats choose the people they want to own.

The greatest things about cats..
They are beautiful, elegant
and know what’s important in life.
Sleeping, eating, sleeping, sleeping,
You don’t even need an alarm clock
when they are around,
Since the only time they don’t sleep is about 5am!!
When they are hungry
and there is no food in the bowl.
